We are situated on the Northeast coast of Trinidad, nestled on the beach in the quiet village of Grande Riviere, 88 Kms. from the Piarco International Airport, 116 Km from Port of Spain, far away from the crowds and surrounded by nature at its best.
Car rentals can be arranged, however due to the remoteness of the Mt Plaisir Estate we generally discouraged it and will gladly arrange excursions and airport transfers in our air conditioned Mercedes Benz small coach (max. 6 persons). 
Airport transfer are $95US one way and $180US round trip.

The sea and rivers around Grande Riviere are unpolluted and refreshing. Around the Hotel feel free to dress as comfortably as you wish.  However, to avoid offending the local population, when venturing into the Village, please refrain from wearing only swimsuits.  Topless sunbathing is allowed on remote beaches, but discouraged on the public beaches.

We take the utmost care to ensure that food preparation utilizes the freshest local ingredients, many of which are grown on our organic Estate land.  We are renowned for our sweet breads, cakes and breads such as "Coconut Bake", which vary daily and are baked in our kitchen.  We also have a wooden brick oven where we prepare special bread and pizzas.  Our main dishes rely on fresh seafood as the staple, with other choices including lobster as well as vegetarian specialties.

Our beach bar offers fresh juices, soft drinks, beer and cocktails. If you have a special desire don't hesitate to ask us.

The bar hours are 10:00AM - 10:00 PM.
